A Little About Me
I’m Emily, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with eight years of clinical experience supporting adults through life’s challenges, changes, and uncertainties.
I believe that understanding ourselves more deeply can change how we experience our relationships, approach difficult decisions, and move through the world. Often, the patterns we develop over time serve a purpose, even when they eventually begin to hold us back.
My approach is person-centered and insight-oriented, incorporating cognitive behavioral strategies when helpful. I value genuine conversation, curiosity, and the opportunity to explore experiences without judgment or pressure to arrive at immediate answers.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. My role isn’t to tell you how to live your life, but to help you better understand yourself, recognize possibilities, and feel more confident making choices that are meaningful to you.
And while the work can be serious and sometimes difficult, I believe there’s room for warmth, authenticity, and humor along the way.
